The food was exceptionally nice. The service was great, you can’t fault it. Waitresses & Waiters kept checking if everything was alright which was very professional. The only thing that was annoying is that, I had a reservation and the bodyguard (little hair/bald) was being a jobsworth. He let all the girls in without question and when it was me by myself he made me wait in the cold. The mixed raced guy at the door was helpful and understanding, he let me in which I was then met with a guy in a suit at the reception which took me to the table. Thank-you. The guys in the shard glass suit outside the bar was entertaining. The only thing I would criticise is the £5 each for a balloon. Daylight robbery. Other than that, the bar/restaurant is a sound place. ~ New B

The best Sunday night tea-time experience I have had. Me and my company had our fill of a meze style Pan-Asian mini and private buffet, complimented with various sweet dishes for dessert. The food in its variation was beautiful, though the zsechuan crispy & sticky chilli beef was in my opinion not as tasty as previously and in the past when I have ordered it. Still, the food was REALLY GOOD. The level of service provided was quite amazing, I cannot fault our treatment from our host during our stay (Macie) who went above and beyond and was very understanding and considerate with the "Lactose Intolerant" company I had in regards to the Pan-Asian style cuisine and the sweet treat desserts provided. Myself and a friend booked to go for lunch for our birthdays, we was greeted by a polite young women on the front desk who made us feel welcome straight away. As soon as we sat down the service from a dark haired waitress was outstanding, she recommended drinks when we asked was so helpful and we didn't want for nothing. We got the 3 dishes for £20 and we was expecting tiny things so we was absolutely made up to see how much food this was absolutely great value for money and not to mention the quality of the food was outstanding too. After our lunch we went to the rooftop bar to finish off and the service was just as good all in all a really good experience and I can't wait to be back. ~ Chantelle D

Dining at Zenn Liverpool was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. Each course of the meal was unreal . The appetizers were beautifully presented and bursting with freshness. The main courses were expertly crafted, showcasing the chef's talent. The service was impeccable, particularly the attention we received from the manager with curly hair. His dedication to ensuring our experience was perfect did not go unnoticed. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and made us feel truly special throughout our visit. Had my baby shower here and can’t speak more highly of the place. So helpful when organising the event for over 60 people, easy to get in touch with and was on hand for all aspects of the event, they even helped with the decorations. Started downstairs with a meal, where we were given the choice of afternoon tea or Sunday roast; both were delicious. There was a live singer which helped create an even better atmosphere. Then afterwards we headed up to the rooftop where I’d hired a DJ and we carried on the party. The staff even brought all my decorations up from the ground floor. After the event the team kept all my belongings safe until I came to collect a few days later, there really was nothing that was too much trouble. Loved it that much I’ve just booked my birthday here. Great venue, great food, great service. Special mention to Rob who was amazing from start to finish. ~ Laura L

Came on Saturday bottomless brunch for Hen party, really nice chilled vibe downstairs entertainment was provided by the party which was amazing sax and drums players , bar staff were really nice and once the bottomless brunch started the drinks kept flowing quickly didn’t need to ask for service , the waiter table service was a bonus the guy he was really polite didn’t catch his name but was great fun always had a smile then food came along nice little selection provided and seperate plates for allergen’s, once the bottomless brunch was over we moved on upstairs to the rooftop bar, great atmosphere, music and service, will definitely be back great value for money. ~ Nic T

So much to like about Zenn Liverpool and in particular its extensive gluten free menu. This has to be the best gluten free menu in terms of both quality and amount of options available I’ve experienced in 30+ years of being coeliac. The staff are attentive and extremely helpful - without ever being invasive. In terms of the venue it is quite simply something else and has to be seen in person to take it all in. No matter what time of day you visit you’ll experience something totally unique at Zenn Liverpool. What an amazing awesome place!!! 1st time we’ve been and definitely won’t be the last!! Was there yesterday evening and it was perfect!! The staff are outstanding and fantastic……so so welcoming, helpful, friendly and extremely polite! They really can’t do enough for you!! We had a couple of drinks on the terrace with sushi (beautiful I may add) and the whole experience was wonderful!!! Seeing Idris Elba was the absolute highlight of our night OMG!!! What a gentleman he was when leaving to let us have a picture!! Such a kind lovely man and full of smiles for everyone!! He’s even more handsome in real life….WOW…..Gorgeous….Thank you xxx ~ Only m

We visited recently on a Saturday afternoon and booked the BBQ rooftop menu. We had a great time, the music was chilled and the vibe was wonderful. I was apprehensive that it may be a bit too young of a vibe for us 40+ something's but I was totally put at ease when we arrived and couldn't have been more wrong! With parties of all ages we felt really comfortable. The service from Danielle was attentive, friendly and she helped with recommendations with the food and gave us some great cocktail recommendations too. We ordered some some places, tempura prawns and the calamari - both were cooked perfectly and we enjoyed the halloumi dish too! For mains we ordered the peppered steak - served perfectly Pink like I asked for, and we got the cheeseburger which was also really good. The Cajun wedges Danielle recommended were insanely good too! We would 100% come back on a Saturday afternoon, great staff, great vibe and beautiful rooftop! ~ Debbie A

Ate here yesterday (10.08.25) on a "buy a gift" experience. Really easy to book, really quick reply and excellent correspondence. On arrival our front of house lady showed us to our table, (we were slightly early - and that still wasn't a problem) we were promptly asked did we have any allergy issues - and we don't. The decor is really chilled, I LOVE The set up of the bar, huge mock aquarium, and I was bowled over by the huge zenn painting above the bar. Toilets were well stocked and clean too. We ordered cocktails and they were delicious 😋.. didn't wait long for the set menu Afternoon tea. What a "WOW" we were both super impressed. I thought it would be cold choices but some were hot, (even the scones!) We were totally impressed with everything, the staff were very Attentive (to be honest it wasn't that busy) but we felt very taken care of. Wonderful lunch. First time at Zenn and won't be the last. The decor is absolutely stunning. Attention to detail was obvious. We chose the small plates which were far from small. The teriyaki beef was the star of the show alongside the duck spring roles which were chocca with delicious duck. I matched with the sticky rice. For what we had the value was exceptional. The staff were attentive and extremely knowledgeable when it came to making choices of both food and wine. Would definitely recommend Zenn as a place to go for lunch as well as a venue for an evening. ~ janet h

Visited Zenn this evening for a meal and a few drinks with friends, our party was 1 more than originally booked, this wasn’t an issue whatsoever. We were seated downstairs right by the entertainment. The drinks were cold and were kept flowing by our waitress and the food was outstanding. We had 4 fillet steaks all cooked differently and it all came out together piping hot with the sides. Faultless service and even better food. Will definitely be returning! Thanks Zenn great for such a newly launched restaurant ~ Jonathan B

Quite possibly one of the best venues I’ve been to in Liverpool, absolutely stunning inside and outside, and all the staff couldn’t have been any more helpful and friendly. Door staff very welcoming, and the waiters waitresses and bar staff where beyond friendly. As for the food, absolutely wow! I Will always come to this venue regularly, not just for the food and the wonderful experience, but the music is class too!! If you’ve not yet been, get yourself there as soon as possible, you Will not be disappointed!! ~ Diskyce

We visited Zenn on Saturday 17th December to celebrate our Christmas party. We couldn’t fault the service we received from the minute we walked through the door to the minute we left. Despite it being a busy Saturday night, we were served promptly and our server was more than attentive in taking our orders for drinks and food. We shared a few of the sharing platters and the Rose Sake Sangria which were all reasonably priced and absolutely amazing. We can’t wait to go back again for our next night out! ~ Lucie O

I’ve been to Zenn Liverpool Twice now and the level of service is faultless. I like to eat somewhere with an atmosphere and Zenn definitely gives that, it has a really good vibe and the staff can’t do enough to make sure you are enjoying your evening. The food is gorgeous and there is a god variety on the menu and the signature cocktails are unreal. I would say it starts to get lively around 10pm and there were dancers on which gave the place a little something extra. It’s definitely somewhere I will be recommending to my friends. ~ Rosie G

Had an amazing pan-asian afternoon tea. The food was delicious. There was a selection of small plates, bao buns, sushi and deserts. It was very deceptive as we were stuffed by the end. Everything was freshly made and it was well worth it. The atmosphere was really nice, we weren’t rushed. Abbie who served us was lovely and made sure everything was to our liking and the barman was very friendly and made a really nice coffee for me. The chefs deserve a lot of praise. Great experience. Went with family for Sunday lunch, 2 Course could of been 3 but was full , great value . Great choice of starters well presented and tasted fantastic. Main course ,what can I say except for what a delight , very tasty , great portions all served with a smile . Had children with me the youngest was 8 and can be fussy , but Chef spoke to him and cooked him exactly what he wanted, not a scrap left on his plate . I will be returning what a gem of place . Our experience at Zenn was really nice! We did not wait long for our food, the people serving us are very friendly and attentive. The tuna steak was very much worth the price but the lamb rump that my partner had wasn't fitting his tastes but overall we're very happy with the food and drinks (great value for money). We're very excited to come back again, and next time try their vegan options! Also, the truffle fries are a MUST. Don't place an order without them 🤣 they're amazing! ~ Budgie F

Had the most amazing sushi here, along side some beautiful Asian small plates. Would definitely recommend the beef chilli & duck sushi, the sticky beef and soft shell crab was beautiful. Had amazing service from Danielle, really attentive and knowledgeable about what to recommend for our first visit, even when our table was required back Rob quickly sorted us a place in the roof top to stay on for drinks (get the strawberry sake sangria) will definitely be returning in the near future!! :) ~ Velvet G

What a place! Been here about 5 times for food and can’t fault them yet. My husband is obsessed with the lamb and I’ve tried multiple vegetarian dishes as I don’t eat meat. Also, don’t leave without trying the truffle fries, they’ll have you coming back for them alone! 😋 The main thing I love about this place is how it goes from restaurant to dancing into the early hours. Literally everything under one roof - food, drinks, entertainment, DJs, dancing. Can’t wait to come back. See you soon 🥳 ~ Danielle D

Booked as a corporate venue fantastic modern building we had the rooftop terrace equi distance to the train stations in Liverpool. Quality bbq food is only let down by it being cooked and stored in warming trays rather than straight from the bbq a live singer was crooning away to provide a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. We dined at 3pm then drinks onwards couldn't fault the place. Paid £5.50 for scooners of beer approx 2/3 of a pint about the going rate for a venue ~ Nick W

After reading some negatives reviews I can honestly say that our experience was first class , I have to mention Keeva … she was the most amazing , professional kindest hostess ( along with all the other staff) nothing was too much trouble for her . We ordered cocktails which were fantastic, sharing platters were delicious, the whole night was just relaxed but staff very attentive and that’s why I’m writing this because credit is where it is due and Keeva can take all of that credit . ~ Judith M

Stumbled across this restaurant on a night out and decided to give it a try and my god, we didn’t regret it! The food was delicious, even managed to get a roast dinner. My party all had various dishes from the noodles, to the sharing platter and the spring rolls. The Popcorn was absolutely delicious and something we’ve all never tried before. I’d absolutely recommend the roast dinner. Great atmosphere and beautiful inside. Service was fantastic and absolutely couldn’t fault the place at all. ~ kelly g

Amazed by this place, I don't live in Liverpool but from there, and walked past it many times, felt like it was too bougie to go in, then booked a Sunday lunch on Wowcher and Wow! Such a lovely place. Finished our food and went on the roof terrace and the whole visit was unreal, staff couldn't do enough for you. Loved the fact the chef came out asking people about their experience, told us about upcoming trials and a Chinese menu, pure class. See you again soon. ~ Wayne K
